Volunteers In Paradise (VIP)
Our VIP Program matches community volunteers with students who want after school mentorship. Volunteers work one-on-one or with small groups of children to increase their achievement.
Community Resource Center
PVSchools Community Education partners with public and private organizations, parents and families, and other community members to offer a wide variety of after-school programs.
United Parent Council

How to Apply
View our job postings, then create an account in our online system in order to apply online and upload documents. View the documents required as part of your application. Applicants selected for interviews will receive notification from the HR Department. Only the Human Resources Department is authorized to make job offers.
Teacher applicant assessment
Applicants for teaching positions are required to take an online assessment called TeacherInsight consisting of multiple choice and Likert scale items.
It will take approximately 30-35 minutes of uninterrupted time to complete the questionnaire. You will be provided a notice to complete TeacherInsight once you submit your application. The assessment must be completed within 24 hours of application submission.
Substitute teachers, nurses and support professionals
Applicants for substitute positions will follow the instructions for online applications above. Once you're an established PVSchools substitute, you will register with Absence Management (formerly AESOP) to search for current opportunities.
Orientation is mandatory for substitutes; you will be notified of your orientation date. If you have questions call 602-449-2182.
Accepting a position
You will be required to complete an I-9 form and provide documents of your choice from the list of acceptable documents for employment. If you were born after Dec. 31, 1956, you must provide proof of a measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) immunization. New hires are fingerprinted prior to their first date of employment. Authorization for a background check is required as well and can be completed at time of fingerprinting. You will need a photo ID. The process takes approximately 35 to 40 minutes.
